About David Bray

Davids Vater arbeitete früher an der Royal Academy of Arts. Hin und wieder erhielten er und sein Bruder Zugang zu den Galerien, bevor sie für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich waren. Das war in den Tagen vor CCTV, und die Wachleute waren nicht im Dienst. Sie waren frei, all diese Kunst zu absorbieren – was sie auch taten. Den seltsamen Picasso berühren. Den seltsamen Warhol lecken. Er empfiehlt, dass Sie nationale Schätze nicht zu sehr anfassen, da Sie dadurch in große Schwierigkeiten geraten können. Es sei denn, Sie sind sich sicher, dass Sie damit durchkommen. Von diesem Zeitpunkt an wusste David, dass er Künstler werden wollte. David arbeitet seit seinem Abschluss in Grafikdesign an der Central St. Martins, London im Jahr 1992 als Illustrator. Zu den kommerziellen Kunden gehören Marken wie Agent Provocateur, Puma, Absolut, MTV, BBC Television, Harvey Nichols, Canon und Vodafone, um nur einige zu nennen. Seine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Fotografen Tim Bret Day für die Kampagne von Harvey Nichols, HN on Earth, befindet sich in der ständigen Postersammlung im Louvre, Paris. Seit 2006 stellt er als Künstler aus, mit Einzelausstellungen in London, Portland und Los Angeles und in Gruppenausstellungen in Hongkong, Tokio, Asbury Park und darüber hinaus.
